This picture was taken from the banks of the Buffalo National River near St Joe on Hwy 65.  The Buffalo has some remarkable scenery and is well worth a day
trip and a canoe rental from any of the local outfitters. Fishing is okay here however, I prefer Crooked Creek near Yellville. It gets less pressure from fishermen.
